Kvantorium Novouralsk

The Quantorium is a platform for additional education created to promote the accelerated natural-scientific and technical development of children, as well as the realization of the scientific and technical potential of Russian youth. On the basis of the Quantorium, with the help of specialized software and equipment, schoolchildren develop, invent and test new solutions. The creation of children's technology parks is supervised by FSBOU DO Federal Center for Additional Education, and since 2018 the direction has been implemented as part of the national project Education.

The children's technopark in Novouralsk was created on the basis of the Station of Young Technicians, it became the fifth in the region, but the first among municipal technoparks. Quantorium, which began its work in 2020, implements 4 specialized educational areas - IT quantum; virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR-quantum); industrial robotics (promrobokvantum) and the High tech - combined kvantum and hi-tech laboratory on the basis of which children materialize results of design activity and learn to work with 3D printers and laser machines.
