Global provider IT solutions and services Softline November 23, 2021 announced that it helped solve the problem of unifying communications the Belarusian trade in the network. OHM The platform, implemented by the Softline team, combined office and communication services and allows you to ensure confidentiality when data working with documents.

The success of OMA depends on the efficiency of internal communications. The territorial distance of OMA offices, a large number of trading facilities, and the active communication of sellers and office employees in the company required the introduction of a single system for their comfortable and safe interaction. It was necessary to establish a joint work of staff and at the same time ensure the confidentiality of data when working with documents.

In OMA, these tasks were solved using several services. But because of their heterogeneity, it was impossible to create a single space for collaboration. Softline experts showed the customer the advantages of using cloud technologies and suggested using a comprehensive Microsoft 365 platform.

Softline has deployed Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, as well as Office 365 cloud services.

Collaboration and communication in the platform is provided by Microsoft Teams. The service combines chats, video and audio calls, meetings, file storage, task scheduler. Due to the fact that OMA offices are located in different areas of Minsk and cities of Belarus, Teams helps save on calls and always stay in touch.

For quick communication, OMA employees can use chat, where you can create conversations with purchasing, marketing, accounting, or management to discuss urgent tasks. It also contains built-in Word, Excel and other office applications that can be opened directly in Teams. Collaboration in one interface saves time and increases staff productivity.

As part of Microsoft 365, corporate mail was delivered. Cloud accounts have been integrated with the local OMA system. Thus, the company received additional fault tolerance of the IT infrastructure and increased the availability of the service.

Together with Microsoft 365 services and applications, upgrading the operating system to Windows Enterprise E3, OMA has also received powerful tools to protect data and increase security - Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 services. They create a secure environment for employee collaboration.

EMS services provide comprehensive protection for Microsoft 365. Intune's built-in solution protects mobile devices, as well as allows you to limit the list of applications available to an employee, ensure the security of data inside them. The IT department manages all enterprise mobile devices in the company from the dashboard and ensures their constant control.

The introduction of Microsoft 365 allowed OMA to solve not only the tasks of the IT department (upgrading the Windows OS, managing office package licenses, ensuring information protection), but also the tasks of the entire business. Thanks to a unified communications system, collaboration has increased. The Microsoft 365 platform has been installed for 300 workstations.

We are pleased with the work of Softline experts, who showed the advantages of the M365 for both IT and business. Thanks to Microsoft 365 services, we have established communication between offices, wholesale databases, company stores, and also provided more powerful data protection. The use of the M365 helped save on infrastructure - we do not need to buy and introduce new "iron" or software to solve individual problems, - commented on the results of the project in OMA.
