2021: Purchase of 163 P7-Office licenses
Altai State Technical University transfers the work of part of the employees with files and documents to the Russian platform P7-Office. This was announced by P7-Office (previously New Communication Technologies, NKT) on November 24, 2021.
The purchase of software was one of the measures to fulfill the federal task of digital transformation of the educational industry. The decision to select P7-Office was the result of the selection process from a number of decisions.
Based on the results of testing and implementation, among the advantages of the Russian solution, they noted a large functionality, as well as the usual intuitive interface, similar to the previously used software. In total, AltSTU acquired 163 licenses for the R7 Office.
As a result of the implementation of the platform, some employees were able to uninterrupted collaboration with documents and complete compatibility with all popular file formats. In addition to online editors of text documents, tables and presentations, users also got the opportunity to use image and video viewing tools.
