Projects module in Enterprise Server 2024
The updated Enterprise Server 2024 has received a number of changes, the most notable of which is a project management module with a kanban board, Gantt charts and other features. In the text editor "P7-Office" it is now possible to change the register through a separate button on the toolbar. There are also options regarding change management and the ability to save change tracking settings to a file. In addition, it became available to save documents in html format, plus in e-book formats - fb2 and ePub.
Spreadsheet Editor now opens large and complex documents faster. The list of supported formats has also expanded - now it is possible to open Microsoft Office XML 2003 files. Grouping and ungrouping for PivotTables appeared, and updated chart types and settings became available. Time can now be set in the format "YYYY-MM-DD," plus the XLOOKUP function has been added.
The changes also affected the presentation editor. There is a slide opacity setting and a text column setting. Plus, as in the text editor, you can now change the case of text using a separate button on the toolbar.
Changes have also occurred in the editors server API. The customization.trackChanges parameter has been added: - it is responsible for opening the editor with review mode enabled or disabled. If the parameter is undefined, the current schema is used. Also, the customization.toolbarHideFileName: parameter appeared in the API: - if it is true, then the file name in the toolbar will be hidden (used only at the same time as the parameters "toolbarNoTabs": true, "compactHeader": true).
The P7-Command module now supports video conferencing technology, which can reduce the load on the server. It also became available to consolidate the selected participant and demonstrate his desktop at all conference participants.
The messenger was also not left without updates: there was a preview of links in the feed (in the web client, PC client and Android client), as well as the ability to reboot the PC client with time data cleaning .
