Education

He graduated with honors from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and the International Independent Environmental and Political University, having received two specialties - in the field of thermal power engineering and management.

In 2012, he received an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin, Germany.

Career

2002-2007

Since 2002, for five years, Lipatov worked in various engineering and technical positions at the All-Russian Heat Engineering Research Institute, OJSC Technopromexport, OJSC Enel OGK-5.

In 2007, he became Director of Capital Construction of OGK-3 OJSC.

2009-2011

In April 2009, he moved to E.ON Russia OJSC as Executive Director for Capital Construction. After working for two years, he was appointed deputy general director for new construction and strategic development of the company.

2015-2018

From 2015 to 2018, he worked as general director at Inter RAO - Power Generation Management.

On September 20, 2018, the board of directors of PJSC Power Machines appointed Timur Lipatov as the general director of the company.

2021: Appointment of Rusagro CEO

On November 25, 2021, Rusagro announced the appointment of Timur Lipatov as the new general director instead of Maxim Basov, who will officially resign in a little more than a month - December 31.

According to the press service of the company, Timur Lipatov will focus on improving the operational efficiency of the business by increasing the efficiency of processes, working with costs, developing a production culture and implementing a digitalization strategy. At the same time, work will continue to expand the international presence and portfolio of products produced at Rusagro.

Lipatov began working at Rusagro on September 1, 2021. What position he then took, not reported. According to a RBC source, Lipatov was an adviser to the founder and main owner of Rusagro, billionaire Vadim Moshkovich.[1]
