2021: Moving Infrastructure to Cloud4Y Cloud
Cloud4Y November 25, 2021 announced the transfer to a fault-tolerant infrastructure platform GameArena.
The multi-game competitive platform GameArena offers many different gaming services that will be interesting to both novice e-athletes and pro-players. In addition to e-sports online competitions, there is an opportunity to take part in offline events for statistics, as well as all kinds of events.
In e-sports, connection speed, high server responsiveness and constant service availability are extremely important. Delays, failures are unacceptable, especially in the midst of competitions. For this reason, many e-sports organizations are responsible for building the infrastructure that will serve gamers.
Cloud technology can deliver the right level of performance and resilience for players and organizers, but with intelligent data replication to the second data center and an instant disaster recovery solution.
GameArena used a hybrid solution for a long time, consisting of a bundle of local infrastructure with one cloud data center. The growing burden (and with it responsibility) required the use of safer, more productive and reliable solutions. In this regard, the e-sports company decided to migrate to the cloud platform of the provider Cloud4Y.
The presence of two geographically remote data centers, enterprise-level equipment, backup systems, as well as DRaaS solutions made it possible to guarantee GameArena the required level of fault tolerance. The company received everything it needed quickly and without significant expenses. Ease of resource pool management, competent technical support, and IaaS flexibility-Cloud provider solutions enable two companies to collaborate comfortably.
