2021: Equipment of level crossings with technical means of photo and video recording of traffic violations

On November 29, 2021, Softline announced that it had equipped 97 level crossings in 34 entities with Russian facilities for photo and video recording of traffic violations. The installation of such a hardware and software complex helps to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists, to stop non-compliance with traffic rules on public roads.

  • decisions and Provider IT services Softline won the open tender procedure, where the selection criteria were experience and cost of the decision. During the implementation of the project, specialists carried out a survey, developed design solutions and coordinated them with all interested customer services. The tasks of the company also included the development and receipt of the necessary documentation, stroitelno- installation, commissioning, communication with organizations responsible for issuing decisions on administrative offenses. For the implementation of the project, a equipment from Orlan smart one was used. machine vision

Softline specialists took into account regional features when implementing. The fact is that each subject has its own CAFAP - an organization that controls the means of photo and video recording and, on the basis of their data, makes decisions on offenses. From region to region, the requirements for materials for issuing decisions (the number of photo frames, their resolution, sequence, angle, duration of the video fragment, and so on) differ slightly. Thus, Softline experts set up equipment in each subject for the format used by the local CAFAP.

= Roman Kravchenko, Head of Business Development in Softline Transport Sector, noted.|"Our specialists took into account many nuances for the effective completion of the project. It should be understood that the work was carried out at existing railway crossings, sometimes quite busy (for example, a section of the Trans-Siberian Railway). And to get to work, to carry out the work itself, it was necessary to coordinate the design documentation, get a permit. These approvals and permits were needed not only from the services of Russian Railways itself. In addition, in order to launch the construction at the current crossing, it is necessary to coordinate with the traffic police a traffic management project for the period of

work.

Also, several moves from our list are planned for reconstruction in the future, in this regard, all our work has been coordinated with the design institutes that developed this modernization. In addition, it was important not to harm the existing infrastructure, so the earthworks were carried out fairly carefully, respecting technologies to prevent damage to engineering communications. We are proud that we were able to implement such a large project, despite quarantine measures and communications difficult in connection with them, "-}}
