2021: Service Launch

At the end of November 2021, the presentation of new services as part of the Diya application took place. Among them is Diya.Pidpis with the function of displaying the history of all signed documents.

"Diya.Pidpis" is a qualified electronic signature (CEP), which allows you to confirm the identity of a person in a digital dimension. This is necessary to sign documents (contracts with contractors, tax returns, accounting documents, etc.), be authorized in government services and receive electronic public services.

Ukraine launched a state service for electronic signing of contracts and tax documents by citizens

The service "Diya.Pidpis" can be used through the application available in the App Store and Google Play. To do this, you need to perform several steps:

  • log in to the Diya application, log in through the BankID or in another way
  • go to the menu by clicking on the "Menu" button at the bottom right;
  • to select the D_ya.P_dpis item, in the appeared window to press the Create button;
  • a window will pop up with an offer to confirm your identity by photo, after which the front camera for scanning the face is activated;
  • when Diya considers a person, a message will appear "Dyakuєmo, a special person";
  • come up with and enter a password, which should consist of 5 digits;
  • certificate is generated.

To use the electronic signature created in the "Diya" application, you must:

  • Select and populate the document you want to sign.
  • Sign the document.
  • Confirm your identity in a convenient way.
  • Enter password.
  • Done - the document is signed.

The creators of the service claim that signing the document with an electronic signature is absolutely safe, since the file is in the browser and is not transmitted to the Diya servers. This is safer than a signature on paper, because when applying an e-signature, you can always check who signed the document, the project website says. Electronic documents signed through Diya.Pidpis can be used in court.[1]
