Tele2 and the federal logistics company SberLogistics begin cooperation on the development of a network of postamats. Now visitors to Tele2 communication salons can receive orders from online stores and send parcels through the postamats of the Sber ecosystem logistics company. This was announced by Tele2 on December 1, 2021.
Automated devices for receiving and issuing parcels began to work in more than 300 Tele2 outlets in 200 settlements of Russia. Customers can pick up their order from an online store or send a package through pedestals in communication salons on their own without queues at a time convenient for them.
Getting an order from an online store is easy. The customer will receive an SMS with an individual code and information about when the package can be picked up in the Tele2 communication salon at the indicated address. To open the cell, the recipient simply enters the code from the SMS on the postamat keyboard. It is also convenient and easy to send parcels. You can issue delivery in the application SberBank Online or on the company's website. After payment, the customer receives a code in SMS, which opens the reserved cell. After placing the package, the client confirms the operation with the command "Loaded successfully" in the postamate menu.
The joint project with SberLogistics was another step in the modernization of the Tele2 retail network within the framework of the "Other Rules" concept. The innovative digital approach and the development of new services help to offer services outside the telecom to customers of communication salons.
