2021: Establishing a Company

On December 9, 2021, it became known that the Abrau-Durso group had created a new company through which it would engage in the restaurant business. We are talking about Abrau-Resto LLC.

According to RBC with reference to Olga Firstova, Director of Communications and Public Relations of Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, a new legal entity was created as part of the restructuring of the Abrau-Durso Wine Tourism Center and will oversee the gastronomic direction of activity. 99% of the share belongs to LLC Center for Wine Tourism Abrau-Durso and 1% to LLC Territory Abrau-Durso.

Abrau-Durso went into the restaurant business and for this created a new company "Abrau-Resto"

The company "Abrau-Resto" will run the business of restaurants and cafes with full restaurant service, cafeterias, fast food outlets and self-service. The general director of the new company is Alexei Miroshev, and the beneficiary is Boris Titov.

In addition, it is planned that Abrau-Resto will be engaged in the cultivation of vegetables, the breeding of dairy cattle and agricultural poultry, beekeeping, the production of raw milk and ready-made food and dishes.

Earlier in 2021, Abrau-Durso announced the opening of a network of gastronomic bars under the brand name 1870 by Abrau-Durso in large Russian cities and the near abroad. The prototype of "1870 by Abrau-Durso" is the 1870 Wine & Food Bar project in Gelendzhik - one of the seven restaurant projects of the group in the Krasnodar Territory. The possible number of institutions under the new brand, investments and regions in Abrau-Durso were not disclosed.

This is not the first attempt by Abrau-Durso to launch a chain of restaurants. The group developed the previous project "Dozen Oysters & Wine" with Robert Stubblebain, the founder of an oyster farm in Crimea and a partner of restaurateur Arkady Novikov. The first point opened To Moscow in 2018, but due to the coronavirus pandemic COVID-19 , the project was curtailed.[1]
