PNPPK for October 2022 unites three scientific institutes, eight factories, 14 educational institutions. The company has more than 3 thousand employees, of which more than 800 are connected to the information project management system (IPMS). There are over a hundred projects in the work of PNPPK, 20 of them are at the stage of the idea.
First of all, the company specializes in R&D and IT projects. They are distinguished by a long life cycle, implementation lasts from 3 to 5 years, the volume of investments ranges from 5 to 150 million rubles. Most projects are carried out within the framework of the state order. Employees of different departments participate in the implementation.
Automation of management processes in the company began back in 2012. Initially, the stake was placed on the introduction of information systems in individual divisions. With the increase in the number of tasks and the degree of employee involvement, a single technological solution was required, which made it possible to combine all divisions into one system and build communications within it, as well as increase the transparency of production processes.
PNPPK opted for the ADVANTA IT solution. When implementing the system, a register of projects was created, checkpoints were defined, an archive and a knowledge base for projects appeared. For all current projects, an audit was carried out, they were entered into the system and structured, a visual reporting system appeared. With the introduction of ADVANTA in the PNPK, it became possible to build a project budget management process and collect actual costs. Thanks to simplified communications, the speed of decision-making on projects has increased, the number of meetings has decreased by three times, and the time for preparing reports has decreased from 1 weeks to 2-3 hours. By creating a project registry, the data has become more transparent and accessible.
In the future, PNPPK plans to expand the ADVANTA system, turn it into a single information space for working with projects, where management is carried out throughout the life cycle. This measure is designed to provide a combination of strategy and projects so that you can immediately see what role each of them plays in achieving the company's goals.
