2021: Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Implementation
The first stage of the project for the implementation of the Russian localization Oracle e-Business Suite R12 (OeBS) in Flex Films Rus LLC has been completed. The work was carried out from July to September 2021 by the project team of Softline Trade JSC and the Borlas Group, which the latter announced on December 20, 2021.
The key task of the first stage was to adapt the architecture of the global system operating in 8 countries to the peculiarities of local requirements with a focus on the forms and reports of the Russian localization of Oracle. As of December 2021, in the Russian legal entity of Flex Films Rus LLC in OeBS, all production and warehouse operations necessary to support the company's global production process are underway. At the same time, part of the business processes, Russian accounting and tax accounting are implemented in a separate local accounting system, which creates a number of difficulties in reconciling accounting transactions between systems.
It was necessary to analyze possible system configurations and propose a solution that would eliminate double entry of information and minimize the use of third-party accounting systems relative to OeBS in order to reduce the cost of maintaining software and the risk of errors in financial reporting. This task was successfully completed by a joint team of experts from the local office of Flex Films Rus LLC, consultants from Borlas Group and SoftLine Trade JSC, as well as the global IT team Flex Films.
Participating companies plan to continue triangular cooperation and further cooperation as part of the development of a project to introduce solutions on the Oracle platform at Flex Films Rus LLC.

Our team tries to attract partners for this, who have a deep expertise in the requirements of local legislation and the peculiarities of local business activities. Cooperation with SoftLine Trade JSC and Borlas Group is an example of efficient and fruitful organization of project activities, said the CEO of Flex Films Rus LLC Junaid Khan noted.
