Softline December 24, 2021 announced the completion of a number of projects for the Russian manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment. The global provider team created a Smart Buttons system for Frigglass Eurasia, designed to improve the quality and speed of business processes, eliminate the risk of stopping the production line by reducing the response time of service services. Further work was carried out on the development and implementation in the company of an analytical subsystem for data collection and decision making, as well as a visualization system that allows optimizing the work of the OTC controller when testing a refrigeration display case. Thanks to these projects, Softline specialists automated product quality control processes at Frigglass Eurasia. Based on objective data collected and visualized using new systems, the client will be able to make informed strategic decisions, which will also affect the improvement of the quality of the produced refrigeration equipment and the profitability of production sites.
Frigglass Eurasia began working with Softline, a global IT solutions and services provider, with a project to create a Smart Buttons Internet of Things solution. Earlier, in case of a problem on the production line (lack of parts, equipment failure), the employee had to independently notify the service services about the incident, which led to a loss of time, suspension of production. Once the Smart Buttons solution has been developed and implemented, customer employees will press the appropriate button on the desktop panel depending on the difficulty. The signal from the button goes to the corresponding service, where the employee's workplace is displayed on the screens, and the workshop wizard receives a notification (Telegram, SMS, email) about the problem. After making a decision and fixing the problem, the specialist turns off the alarm. Thus, according to the results of the project, the client got the opportunity to visualize the current state of the assembly lines. The system developed by Softline experts also ensured the recording and subsequent storage of information about production incidents at the enterprise. Based on this data, employees build further analytics and compile reports per shift. As a result, the response time of service services has been significantly reduced, as well as the risks of stopping the production process.
The successful implementation of this project has become an incentive for the further digital transformation of Frigglass Eurasia. This time, the company needed to automate the product testing process. For this, Softline experts installed software at the testing site. The results of electrical safety tests, the functionality of the cooling system and the absence of coolant leaks are stored in the database with reference to the serial number of the refrigerator, which avoids accidental shipment of the refrigerating display case that did not pass one of these tests.
Finally, in the framework of the third project, Softline developed and deployed a visualization system in the client's company to display the required appearance and additional product options before its launch on the market. Now that you have entered the inventory number in the application, the system displays the options and the appearance of the refrigerator. Thus, the operator, having a reference image in front of him, can check the compliance of the manufactured products with the requirements of the client.
