Add Industrial Safety Function with Computer Vision

The Digital Field AIS, which was developed by the Etton group of companies, has implemented a function to ensure industrial safety using computer vision technology. Using video materials, the neural network determines such situations as fire, smoke, control of hazardous areas, the employee's lack of protective equipment, etc. This was announced on December 8, 2023 by the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies.

Production facilities in the oil and gas industry are hazardous due to high temperatures, toxic vapors and other factors. A long response to incidents that occur and employees fail to comply with safety regulations can lead to tragic consequences. Computer vision technology allows you to organize safety at work without the presence of a person, as well as ensure the safety of the employees themselves.

Abnormal situations detected in production are automatically displayed in the system in the "Incidents" section, and thanks to the built-in robotization mechanisms, the responsible employee is notified of what happened. This allows the responsible person to quickly activate the emergency systems.

The developed technology allows not only to track and monitor the movement of people in dangerous areas, but also, if necessary, can be configured to recognize the presence of personal protective equipment on employees.

Ensuring industrial safety is an important task in any production. Technology allows you to do this without the presence of a person in the danger zone, increasing the quality of safety and making changes to the execution of familiar processes. We have introduced computer vision technology at the Digital Field AIS, which allows us to remotely monitor the safety of industrial facilities in an automated mode, "said Efim Klimov, General Director of the Etton Group of Companies.

According to him, at the time of applying for the grant, RFRIT presented clear and clear requirements for participants, openly interacted with applicants, and a transparent procedure for evaluating applications made it possible to track all stages of consideration. All this played a key role in the decision to participate in the competition.

Inclusion in the register of domestic software

The Digital Field automated information system developed by the Etton Group of Companies is included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases Ministry of Digital Development Russia. Registry entry No. 18350 of 02.08.2023. The developer announced this on August 8, 2023.

AIS Digital Field is a field data management system. It allows you to manage the development and operation of oil and gas fields using a single, scalable system. The system performs complex analytics of the oil and gas sector using big data technology. The solution was developed using the funds of the Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT).

The value of including the solution in the Register is not only that it provides a number of competitive advantages for its implementation, but also that the system is approved for use on. oil and gas enterprises RUSSIAN FEDERATION This allows us to make a contribution import substitution to digital solutions, - said the general director of Etton Group of Companies. 2022: Receiving a grant from RFRIT to create a solution

The project of the Etton Group of Companies to create an intelligent system for managing fields and field data received a grant from the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies RFRIT. Etton announced this on January 13, 2022.

The system will process all information from the wells, from well characteristics to production parameters. Based on the data obtained and their analysis, the digital system will offer the optimal well operating mode. The era of "light" raw materials is ending, so instant complex mathematical and physical calculations are in demand in the industry.

The intelligent system is able to identify patterns between data, make a forecast for all parameters when planning various methods of impact on the well or formation. The system spends minimal time processing the maximum amount of data, which allows you to make quick and balanced decisions, for example, if you need to increase the production of raw materials.

The use of an intelligent system also contributes to the implementation of high-quality data science in the mining industry - this is not only the collection, storage and processing of data, but also their analysis, extraction of useful patterns and application in calculations.

The developers of the system implement mechanisms for working with data, such as the development of unique algorithmic machine learning, the use of declarative language to describe actions in data processing, the creation of data management scripts, the creation of models to increase the speed of calculations.

The intelligent system being developed can be used in the oil and gas industry. The development of the project will be completed within one year. One of the oil and gas companies in Russia has interest in the finished product.

The economic efficiency of oil and gas producing companies as of January 2021 is determined by the use of new technologies, primarily methods of increasing oil recovery. Digitalization of processes allows for a significant synergistic effect and leads to an increase in the economic efficiency of the company's activities, "said Efim Klimov, General Director of Etton Group.
