"Laboratoire De Geni" conducts histological, cytological, immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical studies, molecular studies of a wide range, provides a second expert opinion service. The Moscow laboratory implements research methods that allow detecting cell pathology before the appearance of a malignant stage, as well as determining the effectiveness of laser, radiation, immune and chemotherapy performed on a patient. The high throughput of the laboratory allows you to ensure the processing of incoming biomaterial in the shortest possible time and give the result for routine histological studies in a period of up to three days. Per year, the laboratory performs more than 300 thousand studies (data as of January 2022).

History

2022: Helix bought Laboratoire De Genie for 400 million rubles

On January 13, 2022, the Helix network of laboratories announced the purchase of Laboratoire De Genie. The transaction cost amounted to 400 million rubles. Under the terms of the agreement, Helix received 100% of the Moscow laboratory, and the general director of the latter - 10% of Helix.

As explained to RBC St. Petersburg"" in the press service of "Helix," the laboratory "Laboratoire De Geni" will continue to work under its own brand, while the capacity of this laboratory "Helix" will use for its customers.

Helix acquired Laboratoire De Genie for 400 million rubles

The parties to the transaction expect that it will expand the Helix service catalog with modern and high-precision research for the diagnosis of oncological diseases and present the popular services of Laboratoire De Geni in the regions of Russia.

It is noted that by January 2022, the Board of Trustees of Laboratoire De Geni includes leading Russian and foreign experts in the field of pathomorphology: practitioners, doctors of medical sciences, professors, academicians. Including - the chief pathologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation Georgy Frank.[1]
