To launch additional educational programs, the university needed to equip a number of classrooms with computers that meet the requirements of the software used in the educational process.

The X-Com project team analyzed the requirements of the software used in the training process for the PC hardware. Based on the data obtained, detailed specifications of computers for various audiences were compiled and a technical project for their integration into the university infrastructure was developed. The company proposed to use in-house computers in the project, which made it possible on the one hand to provide the best price/performance ratio, and on the other hand, to most fully meet their customer requirements. All computers are integrated into the local network of the institution, the actions of students can be monitored from the workplace of the teacher.

2021: Customer Equipment Fleet Development

On January 13, 2022, X-Com announced the implementation of a project for the development of a fleet of client equipment at ITMO University. As a result, dozens of new employees of the institution are equipped with computers and laptops that meet the requirements of its work processes.

The selection of the project contractor was based on an open tender among the Russian system integrators software and hardware suppliers. One of the key conditions for participation was that candidates have confirmed experience state educational with institutions and scientifically research centers.

X-Com specialists examined the current IT infrastructure of the University and analyzed the requirements for equipping the workplaces of specialists of various profiles. Based on the obtained data, the composition of the necessary equipment was determined and its detailed technical specifications were compiled.

In accordance with them, the specialists of the production division of X-Com manufactured and supplied dozens of computers and workstations. This approach made it possible to offer a solution with the best price-performance ratio, while eliminating overpayment for excess functionality. In addition, a number of workplaces are equipped with laptops ASUS of the X415EA series based on the processors Intel latest worship. All equipment is integrated into the information system of the University, all the necessary commissioning and testing are performed.
