2021: MyOffice Education 700 License Supply Agreement

As part of the federal project "Digital Public Administration" of the national program "Digital Economy of Russia," the Government of the Omsk Region concluded an agreement on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies with the company New Cloud Technologies, which announced this on January 17, 2022.

Under the terms of the agreement, more than 700 schools in the region will receive a license for the MyOffice Education package and a training manual for the MyOffice ABC at zero cost. The introduction of Russian technologies is carried out as part of the digital transformation of the Omsk region.

Together with the software, schools in the region will receive an updated textbook on digital literacy "MyOffice ABC" for primary school students. The use of the manual in the educational process was approved by experts in the field of education, in particular, teachers of the Moscow City Pedagogical University (MGPU): Irina Levchenko, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, supervisor of the department of informatics, management and technology and Lyudmila Kartashova, assistant professor of the department of informatics, management and technology.

The manual explains in detail how to work with document editors, helps to form skills for schoolchildren to independently prepare digital educational projects.

For the purpose of a favorable transition for teachers of the region, MyOffice specialists prepared a series of training webinars on the use of the MyOffice Education software and the MyOffice ABC manual, where teachers will get acquainted with the product in detail and will be able to ask questions about the functionality of applications.

Teaching the younger generation of digital literacy is one of our priorities. To do this, it is necessary to provide schoolchildren with access to Russian developments, transfer the accumulated knowledge and teach them to use technologies that will help them adapt in the digital environment. We are glad that the Government of the Omsk Region shares our views and comprehensively approaches the equipment of schools with domestic products, "said Elena Nepochatova, commercial director of New Cloud Technologies.
