2022: Optimization of coal production from GK "Figure"
SUEK optimizes coal production at Tugnuisky mine using digital technologies and industrial Internet of things from Numa Group of Companies As part of the program of digitalization of production processes in the Coal Division of SUEK JSC, a project was launched to introduce an automated production control system based on end-to-end processes for managing mining operations and an enrichment plant. The Tugnuisky section was selected as the pilot site. This was reported on January 20, 2022 in the Group of Companies "Figure."
As a result of the project, it is planned to achieve cost optimization in all areas of the production process, including increase the productivity of quarry transport by 4% and the efficiency of the factory, reduce the downtime of transport and mining equipment, as well as forecast the technical readiness of the equipment, maintain systematic accounting and quality control of coal at unloading points, use the capabilities of digital advisers.
The project is implemented on the basis of the decisions of the Figure Group of Companies, with the support of the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT). The peculiarity of the implemented production control model lies in the combination of the management system of the mountain transportation complex of ASU GTK "Quarry" V8 (development of GK "Figure") and the software and hardware complex for managing production and technological data "Unified Dispatch and Analytical Center" (EDAC) based on the IIoT platform. The integrated implementation of these technologies in the coal industry in one project will be the first time. The combination of ASU GTK "Quarry" and EDAC will allow to fully automate the management of mining operations and the processing plant and will provide a through process of informatization and traceability of mined coal from the cut to the shipment of finished products.
"The project allows you to transfer the current basic automation of the enterprise to a new level, with an increase in complex functions, such as optimizing the work of mining equipment, digital advisors, end-to-end planning" cut-factory "and much more, as well as create a single point of data collection necessary for decision making. The expected effect will be achieved through the implementation of the key modules of the system, namely the "optimization module" and the section-factory planning module in the second and third stages of the project. The system being implemented combines many advanced knowledge-intensive technologies, such as Big Data, IIoT, AI, and we also see great potential in the use of digital advisor technology that allows you to quickly make the most effective management decisions, " said Director of Automation and Digitalization of the Coal Division of SUEK JSC Irina Vlasova |
"The project is designed for three stages and will be implemented from 2022 to 2024. The first stage involves the introduction of an updated version of the ACS GTK "Quarry" V8 platform with its basic functionality and control over the operation of mining equipment, as well as a single dispatch center with subsequent configuration of data collection coming from ACS GTK "Quarry" V8. The resulting data array will be used to monitor the operation of the equipment in real time. The second stage includes refinement of the system in terms of control functions, monitoring of the factory operation, implementation of the laboratory test management system. The most interesting from the point of view of economic effect is the optimization module, which allows you to increase the productivity of the mountain transportation complex by at least 4% due to the automatic calculation of the need for equipment when managing the gas turbine. At the third stage, an application service will be introduced to monitor the impact of coal quality entering the factory on its efficiency, as well as digital advisers for real-time process management and the operational planning system "Rez-Factory," commented Denis Semenikhin, Head of Digital Technology Development, Coal Division, SUEK JSC |
All of the above-described activities will enable efficient decision-making in production processes by providing a single access point for multifactorial information analysis, followed by the transfer of consolidated production data to enterprise-level systems.
"A joint project implemented by the company" Figure "and SUEK with the involvement of, state financings will test technologies that can increase the efficiency of mining and enrichment alterations. - The new system will ensure transparency of production processes, as well as increase the level of digitalization of the company. It should also be noted that modern technologies, as a rule, significantly affect the level of sustainable development of the company and give competitive advantages in the long term. In addition, the flexibility of the solution involves a short time to finalize the functionality of the system in accordance with the needs of the business, " Ilya Izmailov,
Director of Business Transformation at Numa Group of Companies, noted |
The system will provide centralized collection and analysis of information from all connected equipment using integrated modules: ACS GTK "Quarry" V8, industrial Internet of things platforms - Zyfra IIOT Platform, Zyfra Industrial Automation Kit and Zyfra Industrial Digitization Kit.
