CyArk uses Seagate Lyv Cloud to accelerate digital transformation

2022: Seagate Solutions to Accelerate Digital Transformation

 On January 21, 2022 , Seagate Technology, a global manufacturer of large-scale storage infrastructure solutions, helped an international nonprofit organization CyArk overcome serious data management difficulties with the Seagate  Lyve Cloud platform. This solution is offered as a service and allows customers to fully control their data without linking to the supplier and additional fees. In addition, the CyArk team used Seagate  Lyve Mobile services to transfer large amounts of data from the server and many local storage devices to the Lyve Cloud platform.

The mission of the CyArk  is to provide researchers, historians and educators from around the world with access to data on the most important objects of the cultural heritage of mankind. Each project generates terabytes of unstructured data. In the context of the global pandemic, CyArk employees completely switched to remote work, which made it much more difficult to work with a server that stores large amounts of data for projects. They needed a solution that would ensure staff and stakeholders continued safe and timely access to data, regardless of location.
