Diagnostics in veterinary medicine reaches a new level by introducing and adapting solutions created for human medicine, "commented Sergey Kruti, head of the Ultrasonic Systems department of Philips in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS. - We are glad that our technologies help to improve the quality of life not only of people, but also of their pets. It is worth noting that expert ultrasonic equipment of the premium class is still rarely found in Russian veterinary clinics. The EVC European Veterinary Center is one of those institutions where medical technologies have begun to be actively introduced. We hope that in the near future, innovations will increasingly appear in clinics.

Many well-deserved perceive pets as full-fledged family members, but not everyone understands that their organisms are as complex as human ones and require the same attention and regular control. At the same time, making the correct diagnosis of animals is complicated by the fact that they cannot complain and tell the doctor about the symptoms, "said Alexei Malovatsky, President of the EVC European Veterinary Center. - That is why it is so important to use high-quality and accurate medical equipment for diagnostics. The highly qualified specialists of our center, combined with the capabilities of the EPIQ CVx expert system, help to timely identify the most complex pathologies at an early stage, to select and prescribe the right treatment for our four-legged patients.

According to ultrasound studies conducted in humans, thanks to the functions of automatic organ measurement, the system reduces the involvement of the doctor in the control of the device by 21%. Thus, the specialist devotes more time to diagnostics and conducts it 8% faster.

The EPIQ CVx system is equipped with a large spectrum of single-crystal sensors, including special high-frequency ones. This makes it possible to examine both large and small pets, as well as quickly obtain high-quality imaging, which is especially important for pets that cannot remain stationary for long. The presence of transthoracic and specialized transesophageal sensors makes it possible to carry out ultrasound examinations at an even higher level.
