Despite new successful implementation projects of the western systems in the Russian trade business, it is still necessary to state rather serious difficulties expecting the Russian companies at their implementation. And the biggest problem, according to Alexander Artyukhov, is the specifics and unpredictability of the Russian legislation aggravated by lack of 'reasonable' support of the systems by the western vendors in the conditions of constantly changing legislation. The western players, according to the expert, most likely, do not consider the Russian retail (even on behalf of her largest representatives) worthy full support and perform it by the residual principle. Certain difficulties, Alexander notes, create also costs of localization and russification of the western systems (for example, in the same SAP 'shop' for some reason is called 'plant'). One more massive fault — to the Russian consumer is, as a rule, proposed the solution consisting of so-called 'best practices of the western retail', i.e. a business environment where the settled business processes are successfully performed decades. Certainly, in the conditions of the Russian reality the buyer of the western system at once should or be engaged in adaptation and reduction of systems in compliance with reality, or to quickly break the developed business processes to please to so-called western standards of the ERP solution. Together with frankly weak support to the customer of a system it is necessary or to trust unconditionally external consultants (not always fair and loyal, the expert notes), or to make own team on development and support of a system. So in fact, to take the last step to transition to use not of the standard, box version, and seriously customized system modified and adapted for requirements of the specific company. Respectively further any updating or development of such system will be integrated to big costs of resources and risks for business.[1]
As the representative of the real sector of economy Alexander Artyukhov considers that functional and scalable solutions of the class ERP for retail at the Russian producers are absent so far. At the same time he recognizes that among the Russian solutions presented at the market, let and with some advance payment, but after all it is possible to select the solution of 1C for automation of retailers. Advantage of domestic goods undoubtedly is the full compliance to the Russian legislation and rather good level of support of changes, compliance of the system interface and her logicians to mentality of the Russian-speaking user. To minuses it is necessary to refer the insufficient level of development of specific industry functionality, insufficient scalability and that is very essential — mistrust of the western auditors to data from domestic information systems.
Alexander Artyukhov refers psychology of the user of the Internet buyer, first, it is heavy to them to make more than three clicks 'mouse' to receive desirable result, and secondly — it to number of features of Internet trade wants to see 'goods the person' before to make the choice, and it is even better — to touch. According to the expert, today purchase of goods on the Internet platform is similar to purchase of 'pig in a poke'. Additional complexity is the lack of mobile cash solutions and the conflict with the current legislation connected with it. The goods delivery with the ready fiscal check obviously does not assume return of one or several positions to the forwarding agent that taking into account the introduced restrictions very relevant (for example, for trade in alcohol). The option with issue of goods in specialized outlets, according to Alexander Artyukhov, is doubtful in respect of customer focus.
The long artificial separation from fundamental laws of functioning of economy and, in particular, trade led to a situation when all new products come to us from the West - it is reality. What new occurs in the field of trade in the West today? What emergence of new products can be expected in the Russian shops in the near future?
In practice of the western retailers, according to Alexander Artyukhov, experience of self-service is most relevant today, namely — use of cash desks of self-service, the CPC as the electronic assistant to the buyer. The interesting solution convenient for use in big shops with the wide range, the expert considers touch screens and also the interactive mobile sessions with the buyer in shop recommending a certain address choice of commodity set which can potentially interest him. Also the system of 'smart' price labels which samoobnovlyatsya is interesting, having received a signal on radio - or to the IK-channel.
