2023: Participant Alexei Gulyaev sentenced to 8.5 years in prison for spreading virus that stole 2.5 billion rubles

In mid-February 2023, it became known about the verdict to a resident of Ulyanovsk, Alexei Gulyaev, who, according to the investigation, was a member of the hacker group Lurk. He received a sentence of 8 years and 6 months in a general regime colony. Read more here.

2022: Group leader Konstantin Kozlovsky received 14 years in a maximum security colony

In mid-February 2022, the Kirovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg sentenced the alleged leader of the hacker group Lurk Konstantin Kozlovsky to 14 years in a strict regime colony with restriction of freedom for one year. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of a criminal community"), Part 3 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal access to computer information") and Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud in the field of computer information").
