2022: Launch of the Digital Freight Platform CargoCom

Moscow Domodedovo Airport started the creation of a digital logistic platform for freight transport. CargoCom It will unite participants in the cargo transportation chain as early as 2022. This was announced on February 15, 2022 by the contracting company. Information Technology Center (IT Center)

The project is implemented in two stages. The first includes the provision of digital services for air carriers, agents of logistics operators and e-commerce companies . One resource will have all the necessary tools for choosing the optimal route, calculating the cost of transportation, as well as booking and up-to-date information about the movement of cargo. The second stage involves the introduction of an expanded functionality of logistics and related services for final recipients of goods - the introduction of tools for payment and integration with the resources of government departments.

The main advantage of the platform will be the ability to seamlessly combine aviation and road transportation. Both domestic and foreign service operators will work on the site, ensuring the export and import of goods, as well as door-to-door delivery.
