Since 2001, he worked in the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation as a specialist of the 2nd category, then as an editor in the Publishing House "International Center for Financial and Economic Development."

Since 2004, he worked at the Russian State University for the Humanities in various positions, including associate professor, deputy head of the department of master's programs of the Educational and Methodological Management.

Since 2013, he was part-time a senior researcher at the All-Russian Research Institute of Documentary Science and Archival Affairs.

In 2017, he was appointed deputy director of the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, and concurrently - associate professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
