On February 17, 2022, it became known that Moscow was creating an application for security officials and officials to control the criminal situation for 158 million rubles. The corresponding contract, subordinate to the Department of Information Technology (DIT) of Moscow, GKU Information City, signed a contract with the Perm company KAMA Technologies.

The document also lists other intended features of the application, including:

  • creation of a register of incidents in the form of short cards with statistics and the possibility of operational control over them;
  • display on the interactive map of surveillance cameras in the form of a marker and the ability to view their video stream;
  • Preparation of daily reports.

The head of the T. Hunter information and analytical research department, Igor Bederov, noted that such an application will help law enforcement agencies investigate "incidents" faster. Experts interviewed by the publication believe that the authorities should not be afraid of the use of personal data about the requests of specific users in search engines, since services give out impersonal information.

The "summary" will complement the system of monitoring the criminal situation that was created for the Moscow government in 2016. While it displays accidents, offenses in public transport, fires and crimes related to the distribution of drugs.[1]
