Biography

He holds an Executive MBA from the State University of Management, as well as INSEAD Business School certificates in Leading Digital Transformation and Innovation and Artificial Intelligence for Business. She graduated from the Executive Coaching program for the development of leaders, top teams and organizations of Skolkovo.

From 1996 to 2006, she held the position of Supply Chain Manager of the Ice Cream & Food division of Nestle in Russia.

From 2004 to 2005, she was the project manager for the implementation of world practices in the construction and management of business processes for the Nestle production association in Russia and a single information system for production enterprises and business divisions.

In 2006, she joined M.Video as project director in order to create the Supply Chain function, in 2008 she headed the Directorate of Supply, Distribution and Logistics Management.

In 2014, the Directorate of Information Technologies, Projects, and later the Administrative and Economic Directorate were transferred to Irina's area of ​ ​ responsibility.

In 2015, she was appointed to the post of operating director of M.Video. After joining, Eldorado led the process of transforming the company and uniting M.Video, Eldorado and MediaMarkt.

Since 2018, as the operational director of the Group, M.Video-Eldorado was responsible for the block of information technologies, transformation, projects and products, big data, as well as the administrative and economic directorate.

In 2021, she left the company and until February 2022 led the project in the field of business education, co-founder and CEO of PRESENT PERFECT business school.

2022: Director of Organizational Transformation and Personnel, M.Video-Eldorado

M.Video-Eldorado announced on February 22, 2022 that the Board of Directors of M.Video PJSC decided to appoint Irina Ivanova to the post of Director of Organizational Transformation and Personnel of the M.Video-Eldorado Group. Irina will begin her duties on March 1, 2022.

In this role, Irina Ivanov will report directly to CEO Enrique Fernandez and oversee all processes of personnel management of the Group and further digital transformation of the company to reach a new level of operational efficiency. The key focus of the Director of Organizational Transformation and Personnel will be to find and implement solutions to accelerate business transformation and implement positive changes, improve business practices and change management to increase staff motivation and engagement and create a customer-oriented organization, build an effective system for attracting and managing talent, as well as further develop employee digital competencies and introduce new models of performance management.

The post of personnel director from March 1, 2022 is directly subordinate to Irina Ivanova. Over the next month, Alina Ryzhenkova, who decided to continue her career outside the company, will carry out a smooth transfer of affairs.

The M.Video-Eldorado hybrid business model implies full integration of online channels and traditional stores. The Group's strategy envisages further growth of the company's business and GMV while maintaining and improving operational efficiency by transforming the retailer into a technology company and further developing the OneRetail platform, which is based on mobile solutions for retail and customers, and improving business processes based on data analytics.
