2022: Survey of warehouse processes
On February 24, 2022, Korus Consulting Group announced a pre-design survey of warehouse processes for the Jilex production company. Switching to 1C: WMS will help the company effectively organize accounting, including for a new warehouse.
JILEX is a manufacturer of water supply equipment in Russia and neighboring countries. For the storage of finished products, raw materials and semi-finished products, JILEX as of February 2022 uses two warehouses with an area of 8000 m2 and 6000 m2. Due to the growth of the business and the obsolescence of the previous warehouse accounting system, the manufacturer decided to introduce another platform. Key requirements are easy to maintain and more typical functionality, which will allow you to quickly introduce new processes into the loop when changing business tasks.
During the survey, specialists studied warehouse processes - from the receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished products, analyzed data on goods movements based on accounting documents and determined what improvements to the system would be required. Experts also modeled future processes: for example, accounting for finished products in a new warehouse.
The "1C: WMS" system will be adapted to all features of the company, both in working with finished products, and with raw materials and materials, as well as for carrying out an inventory. The identification of the nomenclature was proposed to be organized using bar coding. The company will now use QR codes and label labels to help identify the product accurately, both through the data collection terminal and during manual acceptance/assembly by the storekeeper. The solution will be integrated with the company's ERP system based on the 1C platform. Careful preparation and detailed documentation will allow you to implement 1C: WMS in the future quickly and without unnecessary modifications.
