2021: Implementation of warehouse management system in new distribution center

The pilot object of WMS implementation was the company's new distribution center, with an area of ​ ​ more than 45,000 square meters. m., and the Axelot WMS X5 solution was chosen as the implementation product. To reduce the implementation and implementation time, an iterative, flexible project management approach was chosen and a cross-functional team was formed. As a result, in a few months, it was possible to implement MVP (minimum viable product) and go into the phase of productive development.

During the work, the product team implemented a number of important functions related to the specifics of the stored products, as well as the business processes of the company. For example, obtaining replenishment tasks according to the location of the performer, planning the necessary components according to the batch of the head set, working with structural bar codes, sorting the goods at acceptance, and others. During the implementation process, there is an increase in the productivity of the main processes, and at the same time, the disposal of storage cells is growing. WMS implements a piecemeal wage system.
