The gradual introduction of mandatory labeling for various categories of food requires logistics companies to significantly modernize business processes. On the side of the 3PL operator there are several procedures to ensure the complete traceability of products throughout the supply chain. The first is the identification of the item when it is delivered to the warehouse by checking the barcodes of the DataMatrix printed by the manufacturer. The second is the transfer of data on the receipt of goods to the manufacturer - the client of the logistics operator, and the operator of the Honest Sign system. And the third procedure is to ship the goods from the warehouse of the 3PL operator using marking codes. Thus, in the system "Fair sign" the next link in the supply chain of the goods is fixed.

To carry out these operations, ProFresh required the modernization hardware and revision of software solutions. As of March 2022, the fleet of mobile data collection terminals has been completely updated. The company purchased about 250 terminals on the manufacturer's platform Android that Urovo support reading two-dimensional DataMatrix marking codes and are suitable for working in freezer conditions.

At the first stage, our team programmers wrote their own Android, on-line with application integrirvanny on-base account system WMS , "said 1CAlexey Solomatenko, head of the ProFresh development. - The task of this application was to check the availability and correctness of the two-dimensional barcode DataMatrix during the acceptance and shipment of products. We put two levels of control into the system: selective verification of delivery goods and verification of all delivery goods. The inspection level can be set individually for each customer or for each receipt document.

By the beginning of March 2022, ProFresh completed work on software for checking labeling codes. A pilot project was conducted with three customers of the company - food producers.

The second stage is the integration of the developed software with the software solutions of our customers, which will allow organizing an online exchange of data on the accepted and shipped marking codes, as well as integration with the Honest Sign system, "said Alexey Solomatenko. - Some difficulty is that the manufacturers and suppliers themselves have not yet established their integration processes within the framework of the Fair Sign system. And in general, there are no examples of the implementation of full-fledged work in this system for 3PL operators. It turns out that we play the role of pioneers.

The main difficulty of further development of the system, according to Alexei Solomatin, is associated with the impossibility of directly integrating 3PL operator systems with the Honest Sign. As of March 2022, only its manufacturer, which is able to certify the shipment by its own electronic signature, can send data on the status of the movement of the goods to the system. To develop a system that allows you to work comfortably in this paradigm, ProFresh in the next six months is implementing a joint pilot project with one of its partners - food producers.

The work on preparing the IT infrastructure for the application of the ProFresh marking is planned to be completed by the end of 2022.
