Fiber channel adapters act as a connection of storage to hosts - compute complexes, using which they build the classic SAN architectures of storage used for large Enterprise solutions. It is also the most efficient and easy way to transmit data over optics.

The collaboration with Broadcom in the development of drivers for Elbrus-8C and 8CB was a continuation of the interaction in the framework of various tasks to finalize adapters for the peculiarities of our storage systems. The creation of Emulex drivers took the project team about one month.
