Network company Tatarstan (single system of the normative reference information (NRI))

On August 9, 2010 the IBM corporation announced contract signature on creation of a single system of the normative reference information for JSC Network Company. Creation of a single system of the normative reference information (NRI) will allow Network Company to increase the accuracy and efficiency of management decisions, efficiency of applied information systems, to reduce expenses on repairs of technology equipment and also will provide correctness of data at consolidation of planned and reporting information taking into account transition to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The project is executed the prime minister by the business partner of IBM, company NTsIT "Intertekh".

JSC Network Company performs transfer and distribution of electrical energy among consumers of the Republic of Tatarstan, creates conditions for connection of new applicants. The geographically-distributed structure of structure of the company which has nine branches entered a number of difficulties to process of collecting of the consolidated data for managerial, production and financial tasks. Owing to this fact the company management made the decision on creation of a single system of the normative reference information.

Being guided by industrial experience of NTsIT "Intertekh" in the field of power industry, JSC Network Company selected the joint industrial solution of IBM and Intertekh of InfoSphere MDM Server for PIM with the preconfigured Ontologic class library. The integration bus of IBM WebSphere ESB intended for information exchange between different applications within management processes of NSI and also the portal solution IBM WebSphere Portal for remote work with reference books also are a part of the solution. Such structure a component allows to solve in a complex a problem of management of NSI and also in the long term to expand functionality of a system to adjacent areas.
