2022: Results of lean production implementation
At CJSC Sukhinichi Feed Mill (CJSC SKZ) summed up the results of six months of participation in the national project "Labor Productivity." Optimization of processes on the pilot flow of feed production made it possible to achieve a potential economic effect of 85.5 million rubles. In the Kaluga region, the operator of the national project is the Regional Competence Center (RCC), operating on the basis of the Business Development Agency. The latter reported this on March 29, 2022.
Sukhinichi Feed Mill in September 2021 began production transformations. Employees of the company were trained in lean technologies, including at the Kaluga Process Factory.
During the "Diagnostics and Planning" phase, 24 problems were identified on the pilot stream. RCC specialists together with the company's working group have developed 47 measures to eliminate them. The transformation resulted in a 5.7% reduction in process time and a 10.6% increase in output per employee.
The main task was to eliminate the downtime of pelletizer presses that produce combined feed. The reason was the expectation of raw materials and components to start production. An effective solution was to place standard stocks of raw materials and components in front of the presses. This reduced the launch time by 40 minutes, which gave an additional production of 9144 kg per shift.
Our enterprise was created in Soviet times, and many processes were carried out in the old way. Now we have done a lot. They prescribed the standards of all professions. New employees no longer need to explain anything, it is enough to give instructions. In addition, the national project contributed to the career growth of the most active employees. We recognized them from the other side and made it possible to grow professionally. I believe that the knowledge gained is very important precisely for enterprises in areas that, due to their remoteness, are less accessible to the latest technologies. Production is established effectively, "Olga Zolotova, Deputy General Director of SKZ CJSC, shared her opinion on participation in the national project. |
