On April 6, 2022, Mastertel presented customers with a closed cloudbound data network aimed at improving fault tolerance and protection. The Russian segment of the Internet has faced unprecedented tests - DDoS attacks, cyber threats, and the disconnection of backbone telecom operators. cloudbound is a closed data network for cloud service providers and enterprise users. The cloudbound network is implemented on the basis of Mastertel fiber-optic communication lines with a total length of over 10,000 km (these are more than 2,000 connected office buildings or 80% of companies in the Moscow region).

The network has dedicated data connections with cloud service providers and physical connections of enterprise users. This gives network connectivity between cloud service providers and customers independent of Internet connectivity.
