2022: Six Sigma Implementation Results
April 13, 2022 it became known about the results of the implementation of Six Sigma at Nevinnomyssky Azota
For the first two months of implementation of the projects, the economic effect amounted to 76 million rubles.
Employees of the Operational Efficiency Department (OOE) of Nevinnomyssky Nitrogen received training in the field of statistical research and defended developed projects with certification according to the Six Sigma methodology of the Green Belt level.
As of April 2022, the Nevinnomyssky Nitrogen operational efficiency department is doing a lot of work to increase the productivity of enterprise departments, improve the quality of products, and reduce planned and unplanned outages. In order to gain new knowledge about tools and research methods in the field of the Business System, the Department of Operational Efficiency organized training for employees of the OE of EuroChem enterprises.
In the practical part of the training, the employees of the Nevinnomyssky Nitrogen OE developed two projects for the enterprise: "Increasing the productivity of the carbamide unit in workshop No. 2-A for the production of carbamide and melamine" and "Increasing the productivity of the UKL-7 unit in workshop No. 5 for the production of weak nitric acid."
The choice of topics was made with the help of the technical director of the enterprise Pyotr Kvyatkovsky and the production director Andrei Serikov, who, together with the heads of the workshops Oleg Mosin and Sergey Ryazantsev, acted as project evaluation experts.
The DOE staff worked on their projects using the five-step DMAIC algorithm, at each of which they identified factors and assessed risks that affect the achievement of specified indicators.

Using the Six Sigma methodology, it was possible to determine the factors that affect the target, as well as predict the behavior of the system when they change. For example, increasing the supply of GTU-8 to the gas duct from 0.63 MPa to 0.73 MPa in workshop No. 5 will increase the capacity of the UKL-7 unit from 14.8 to 15.8 t/h,}}
