2022: Development of business risk management package
The Russian team, which was transferred to the global Accenture business in April 2022, has developed a set of measures to manage business risks, including those related to IT infrastructure. The developed approach includes a response plan that ensures business continuity and operational stability, taking into account the challenges faced in the spring of 2022 in the field of applications, infrastructure, network equipment and other technologies. Aksencher Russia announced this on April 15, 2022. This is a list of specific measures at all levels of IT, from infrastructure, applications, and support to IT management.
The circumstances in which IT departments find themselves are due to a number of factors: - Global vendors (such as SAP, Oracle, Cisco, Citrix, SAS, Adobe and others) have suspended sales, and in some cases solution support in Russia. - Possible risks of remote disconnection of software and equipment. - Blocking or stopping the operation of part of foreign cloud services. - New regulatory requirements. - General uncertainty due to new sanctions imposed.
Many departments of international companies faced a typical situation when critical applications are located outside the Russian Federation and/or are part of the global IT infrastructure. This applies not only to accounting systems, but also to planning systems, tracking supply chains, client systems directly related to daily business activity.
