History

2022: Start using the system

In mid-April 2022, it became known that athletes from the Drummer boxing club began to use JarHead concussion sensors. The device is attached to the helmet during training or competitions. The device immediately responds to a blow sufficient in strength for concussion, provides a light signal and sends a message about the status of the fighter to a special application installed on the computers of the trainer and doctor.

To control the correctness of the tests during boxing sparring, there was a video shoot. The recording allowed the coach to compare the strength of the blows with the indicators recorded by the device. During pilot tests, in which 18 boxer-arresters aged 18 years took part, the sensor timely and accurately determined the force of the blow, which proved its effectiveness. Now the gadget is recommended for use in sports organizations in Moscow. The sensor can be used in shock sports, hockey, football or rugby, the report said on the official website of the mayor of Moscow.
