Ability to create multiple passes from one owner
On October 16, 2023, ITRIUM announced the release of an updated version of the NEUROSS Platform.
NEUROSS is a digital platform for integrated security at facilities of any scale.
Added platform capabilities:
- Functions of the AWS application Access: added the ability to create several passes from one owner, improved the algorithm for determining the status of the pass in real time, improved the procedures for importing owners and passes from CSV files.
- A health monitoring module has been implemented that allows the administrator, when working with a web application, to track a system hard disk overflow.
- A "native" distribution of the Platform for the family has been assembled. OS RHEL
- In the AWS NEUROSS Center added the ability to view events in the last 24 hours for any element.
- Added the ability to view the administrator of the list of incidents in processing; added the ability to interrupt the incident processing by the administrator.
- Added the ability to edit the routes for processing pass requests from the web interface.
- An integration plugin with MODBUS devices has been developed for the NEUROSS Platform (including the ability to poll several devices in parallel).
- A mechanism has been implemented that allows the automation service to "integrate" into the algorithm for creating/changing/deleting passes and pass holders (for example, automatically insert "service" fields or "block" withdrawal depending on the data in the pass).
Ability to view the list of faults in the system and tools for their elimination
On July 28, 2023, ITRIUM announced the modernization of the maintenance tools of the NEUROSS platform.
In particular, it became possible through the web interface:
- view the list of faults in the system and tools for their elimination;
- Generate and save a complete copy of the NEUROSS Platform database on a backup medium;
- Restore the full configuration servers from the "external" copy of the database data
- in case of compatibility errors of the latest version of the NEUROSS Platform with previously configured plugins and automation scripts, "roll back" to the previous version to restore health in order to upgrade no longer supported algorithms in a calm mode;
- update the plugin version with automatic preservation of the previous configuration and the ability to perform a "rollback";
- order the development and simple import of a finished automation task, or independently write an automation script in an editor with navigation and syntax highlighting to solve non-standard object problems, "not covered" by the basic functionality of the NEUROSS Platform.
Hikvision Terminal Support
On January 30, 2023, ITRIUM announced the implementation of support for the NEUROSS platform with access terminals with face recognition and high body temperature detection from Hikvision.
A virtual access point corresponding to each HikVision terminal is published in the NEUROSS network, providing access levels, monitoring of events and states of the access point, blocking/unlocking the access point and restoring the operation mode. NEUROSS provides the download of passes to the HikVision terminal, calculates the current status of the pass based on all available data (the ability to access a specific pass at the current time at this terminal) and ensures the timely update of the status at the terminal.

The ability to install as a Docker image
The NEUROSS platform has become possible to install in the form of a Docker image, including from the public Docker Hub. Itrium SPb (Itrium) announced this on October 17, 2022.
When installed from a Docker container, the NEUROSS Platform can be licensed using a hardware identifier or using a network key server. Support for licensing Docker installation via USB keys is not implemented in the current version as of October 2022. Along with HID licensing, licensing through a network key server is supported.
Everything that happens inside the Docker container file system (for example, creating temporary files) is not saved from start to start. Therefore, such data as a license file or database must be removed from the container to the so-called volume - storage folders that are present in both the container file and the host file.
By default, logging for most classes is set in INFO. The first time you start, the logback-production.xml file is created in the ./neyross-config/folder, which can be edited from the host OS.
Compatible with Astra Linux Special Edition 1.6 and 1.7
The company "Itrium SPb" and the group of companies "Astra" conducted joint test tests and confirmed the compatibility of the platform "Neuross" (No. 9698 in the Register of domestic software from 15.03.2021) with the domestic operating system Astra Linux. This was reported on September 16, 2022 by Itrium SPb.
Performance assessment software was carried out on the basis of the Astra Group of Companies. Based on the results of successful tests, Itrium SPb received compatibility certificates for special-purpose updates 1.6 and 1.7 operating system. Astra Linux Special Edition
Unlike traditional integrated systems, Neuross ― a single system in which both software and hardware of the KSB are seamlessly integrated: access control, security alarm and intelligent video surveillance. At the same time, "Neuross" retains all the capabilities of the traditional integration of third-party tools and systems. Itrium SPb solutions built on the Neuross platform provide compatibility and integration with both in-house and third-party equipment from other manufacturers, ensuring cost savings and increased profitability by reducing the total cost of facility security costs, the company emphasized.
Presentation of the brand name "Neuross"
The company "Itrium" on August 15, 2022 presented the trademark of the brand "Neuross."
The platform is a cross-platform software that combines the capabilities of a single system with traditional integration, which is designed to digitalize complex security systems of newly created facilities and modernize existing systems.
"Neuross" runs under the secure Russian operating system Astra Linux, as well as under the control of other operating systems of both widespread use and appropriately certified versions with repositories in the Russian information space.
Itrium solutions built on the Neuross platform provide compatibility and integration with both in-house and third-party equipment, ensuring significant cost savings and increased profitability by reducing the total cost of facility security.
As part of AI solutions for biometric access control
VisionLabs and Itrium have presented an intelligent biometric access control solution that meets all import substitution standards. The solution will help complement the functionality of comprehensive security systems for large corporations, which are especially interested in cross-platform and fast technology scalability. This was announced on April 21, 2022 by VisionLabs.
The solution is based on the current software - the Neuross platform from Itrium, which allows you to create physical security management systems at facilities of any scale and purpose. "Neuross" can work on almost any computer platform running various operating systems, including Russian Astra Linux operating systems for general and special purposes.
For identification by face biometrics, the system has a built-in computer vision platform Luna from VisionLabs. It provides accurate and fast recognition of a person, regardless of the presence of a mask, glasses, hats and other attributes. The whole process takes a split second. Also, the liveness algorithms from VisionLabs are built into the solution, which create protection against image spoofing.
The software part of the solution is based only on Russian technologies, which are the own developments of Itrium and VisionLabs. Integrated products are included in the register of domestic software and fully comply with current import substitution standards. Due to the use of standardized protocols and direct interaction between the Borey and Luna Platform controllers, adding face recognition to the current MCDS solutions for Itrium clients does not require stopping the system and replacing its key elements.
The modernization of access control using computer vision expands the functionality of security systems and increases the security of the facility, while using current technologies. The solution can also be supplemented with integration taking into account working time, thermometry, "1C" to create a human resources platform.
"The architectural principles and approaches implemented in our technical and software products" Neuross "allowed VisionLabs specialists to quickly solve the problem of integrating the facial recognition system into our solutions for integrated security systems. The practice of the first implementations has shown that the result of joint work can be used in existing systems with minimal interference in their performance at the commissioning stage, "- told Denis Ivanov, Development Director of Itrium. |
"Our cooperation with Itrium will strengthen competencies in creating integrated security systems using computer vision. VisionLabs continues to expand the partner ecosystem to provide customers with the most requested technology. A joint solution with Itrium will help the Enterprise segment implement access control systems of any scale and complexity, using only Russian developments, "- added Ilya Romanov, commercial director of VisionLabs. |
