2022: Automation of document processing and analytics at TD Eurotrading
On April 25, 2022, Softline announced the completion of a project to introduce a Russian solution for processing and analytics of SOICA documents in TD Eurotrading LLC. As a result of the automation of entering documentation into the accounting systems, the client has gone away from its manual processing. This reduced time costs, simplified business processes, and reduced the risk of errors due to the influence of the human factor. With the help of this solution at TD Eurotrading, the speed of processing documents increased by 30%. In addition, within the framework of the project, Softline specialists will provide technical support for SOICA licenses during the year.
LLC TD Eurotrading produces plastic and concrete surface drainage systems under the brand name Gidrolica, sold in Russia, the CIS countries and Europe. The company's products have been produced since 2005 and are used in the construction and arrangement of private, civil, industrial, sports construction facilities. Striving for development, TD Eurotrading expands its range, increases production capacity and automates business processes.
Before contacting Softline, a large amount of financial documentation in the company was processed manually, which required large time and human resources. In addition, when entering documents into the archive or accounting system manually, the likelihood of errors was high. TD Eurotrading needed such a tool to automate the documentation process, which would not only increase the speed of the operation, but also provide analytics on the processed documents, check their correctness and completeness, as well as upload data to 1C. To choose a solution, Softline specialists tested a number of products for the client, as a result of which it was revealed that the SOICA platform, the Russian product of SOICA, which is part of the Softline group of companies, meets all the customer's requirements. The solution is designed for automated processing of documents and includes functions of recognition and robotization.
Within the framework of the project, Softline experts organized training for the technical specialist "TD Eurotrading" in working with the solution, providing training materials for quick adaptation to the product. During the training period, the provider's engineers advised the client on emerging issues. This helped the company master the functionality of the product and customize it for itself.
Also, in order for the platform to identify different types of financial documents and group them into sets, the Softline team developed 6 different document templates for the client.
"Having implemented the SOICA solution in TD Eurotrading, we helped the client solve a number of problems. Firstly, with the help of the platform, the customer can monitor the presence of a print/signature on documents. The company's accountant does not need to perform any additional checks on the documents to ensure that they are properly executed. Secondly, after analyzing documents, the solution automatically "breaks" them into sets (groups them). At the same time, in addition to the correctness of filling, the presence of barcodes, the binding and correctness of the power of attorney for the signatory, etc. are checked. In addition, each processed inbound document is assigned a "name containing meaningful data. And then the system 1C automatically searches for a specific document based on the facts (data) recognized in it, creates a card of this document and attaches its scan image. Thus, only 2 documents out of 100 require human correction - 98% of the documentation is processed automatically by the solution, " explains Victor Goryunov, CEO SOICA |
"Thanks to the SOICA product and Softline specialists, our company has practically abandoned routine manual labor - the recognition and extraction of data from paper documents is automatic, and the probability of making an error under the influence of the human factor has decreased significantly. In addition, we no longer need to organize the storage of paper archives. As for technical support from Softline, our questions were accompanied by extensive and competent consultations and recommendations. This allowed us to integrate the product with our 1C system in one day. We are interested in further expanding the functionality of the platform, as well as scaling SOICA to other departments and departments. Therefore, with the help of Softline, we plan to develop additional templates, which will give us the opportunity to process other documentation (for example, legal) and thereby expand the use of the solution, " noted Igor Beznoshchenko, General Director of TD Eurotrading LLC |
