An electrical network computer (ESC) is a device that provides regulation and protection of the electrical network and devices connected to it. Compared to other types of electric installations for receiving and distributing electricity, it has smaller dimensions and wider capabilities. According to the developers, ESC replaces a number of devices that perform similar tasks. These include: set switchgears, power supply safety equipment, metering devices, power supply automation equipment.

The company "Axiom" from the special economic zone "Technopolice Moscow" has established the release of its own invention to save electricity, both individual devices and entire buildings. Development can replace foreign analogues. This was announced on April 28, 2022 by Technopolice from the words of the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The company, whose production is localized on the territory of the Moscow SEZ, is preparing for mass production its patented device - an electric grid computer that helps save energy and ensure the electrical safety of enterprises, institutions, housing and communal services facilities. The production capacity of the company in the capital's SEZ allows it to produce at least 1 thousand such devices per year, "said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

In the field of housing and communal services, the development helps to reduce the operational costs of servicing the internal electric grid and the electrical appliances connected to it, allows you to diagnose wiring in real time and monitor the electric consumption of tenants of institutions, trade and business centers. In addition, the computer reduces fire risks, protects lines during overloads and short circuits.

Since 2019, the Axiom company has been located on the Pechatniki site. Taking advantage of the infrastructure and logistics advantages of the SEZ, the developers successfully tested, patented and now bring their electric network computer to serial production. This should contribute to the independence of the domestic market from European suppliers of energy equipment and the creation of new jobs for the production of electronic components in Russia, "said Gennady Degtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow.
