430 schools in the Kirov region will receive free Russian office software "MyOffice"

2022: MyOffice Education Desktop Suite Delivery Agreement to 430 Schools

The Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of the Kirov Region has concluded a cooperation agreement with MyOffice to work together with documents and communications. MyOffice announced this on April 28, 2022. The parties agreed to transfer educational institutions in the region to Russian office software. Under the terms of the agreement, 430 schools in the Kirov region will receive a set of desktop applications "MyOffice Education" free of charge.

Together with the software of the republic's school, they will receive a free electronic manual "ABC MyOffice," prepared specifically for the development of digital literacy in lower grades. The use of "ABC MyOffice" in the educational process was approved by experts in the field of education, in particular - teachers of the Moscow City Pedagogical University.

In addition, educational institutions in the region will be able to purchase other MyOffice products - for example, "[[New Cloud Technologies: My MyOffice|]] Private Cloud 2," the mail system "MyOffice Mail 2" - according to a special price list.

In order for school teachers to quickly adapt to this software, MyOffice will organize a series of free webinars on the possibilities of "MyOffice Education." So, teachers will learn how to quickly compile reports for work, learn how to effectively use PivotTables and much more.

As of April 2022, the application of domestic developments is of strategic importance. Tasks for the operational transition to domestic software are set, including at the federal level and personally by President RFVladimir Putin. Existing Russian developments make it possible to ensure the safety and reliability of the work of authorities, subordinate institutions, - said Aleksei Sukhikh, acting Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of the Kirov Region.
