2022: Optimization of open space offices
On April 28, 2022, RDN Group announced that it had implemented the Intranet Space for the United Metallurgical Company (OMK), a manufacturer and supplier of integrated solutions for the oil and gas industry, power, transport, construction and other sectors of the economy, to optimize work in open space offices in conditions of covid restrictions and hybrid graphics. In the coronavirus pandemic , the service allowed the company's employees to reserve jobs and meeting rooms in offices remotely with an individual level of access to data through a QR code.
The created Intranet system offers employees whose schedule is based on partially or completely remote work to plan their office visit or business meeting remotely - through the program to find a free place in the office on a given date, select options with the necessary level of access to confidential information. The program automatically sets the distance between booked places, which, during the restriction period, allowed employees to remain in working mode.
The project was launched in April 2021 and quickly brought economic benefits. Due to a decrease in the workload on offices due to the transfer of employees to a hybrid schedule, OMK abandoned part of the leased space, reducing costs, according to the company, by 66%.

In this regard, we had a need for a service that would allow our employees to receive up-to-date information about available jobs, and for us to assess the workload and demand of jobs in order to optimize our costs for renting office space. The ready-made solutions that are on the market did not meet all our requirements.
