2022: Corresponding Member of the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation

Igor Gavrilovich Shaposhnikov, Advisor to the General Director of the Automatics Concern of the State Corporation Rostec, concurrently - Deputy Head of the Department of Digital Devices and Information Protection Systems at RTU MIREA, was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation. The Concern announced this on May 13, 2022.

The Academy brings together leading scientists in the country who deal with a wide range of information protection problems. The main elements of the structure of the Academy of Cryptography are departments specializing in solving various classes of problems in the field of cryptography and ensuring information security. As of May 2022, the Academy of Cryptography includes four departments, as well as the Research Center.
