2022: Geo-Information System Implementation Project Completed
On May 19, 2022, Softline announced the completion of a project to introduce a geographic information system for collecting, storing, analyzing and graphical visualization of data in SK Altaikraienergo JSC. It was built on the basis of the BI-system of the Russian company DBA (DIGITAL BUSINESS ADAPTATION/OOO "DIBIEI"), which was already used at SK Altaikraienergo. The Softline team helped the client expand the functionality of this system by adding indicators for processing and adjusting the visualization of data with geographical reference. Thus, the geographic information system transmits to the video panels installed in the company's situation centers (Biysk, Barnaul) current performance indicators of the energy company and reflects them on the map. All this allows the client to get online monitoring of key indicators with the ability to digitally and graphically visualize and track their dynamics over time. Such timely control influenced the management decision-making process, which became more operational, and business processes became more transparent.
The provider's engineers took into account both the specifics of the organization's activities and its extensive network (9 branches, 56 plots) and in just a month developed a geoinformation system based on CIAS, which visualizes all business objects on the map in real time. This was made possible thanks to the flexibility of CIAS and a number of its special built-in functions, as well as close interaction with the vendor, which provided extensive advice.
According to the results of the project, it was possible to solve all the tasks set. The number of indicators processed was increased to 109. As of May 2022, the system records many data: KPI performance, department rating, financial indicators, incidents, team location and composition, infrastructure location and condition, smoke sources, network and server load indicators, etc. The system is used by more than 200 employees. User roles have been configured - their number has become more than 20, each role has its own set of indicators. In addition, the functionality of the tool made it possible to integrate it with many other systems and services. Thus, the client gets quick access to the current and historical data presented in one window and on the map, as well as to the dynamics of changes with color differentiation of the links between indicators. The customer also praised the possibility of accessing the system from any device and receiving notifications of events in instant messengers, "said Pavel Kopysov, head of the infrastructure competence center at Softline. |
It is important to note that CIAS is suitable for companies of any level of digital maturity. By reflecting individual indicators in the system, the ability to compare different values among themselves, conduct their qualitative assessment and retrospective analysis of changes, the client can establish causal relationships, identify bottlenecks in, business processes correct and improve them. So, using TSIAS, SK Altaikraienergo was able to optimize logistic processes, move, transport organize effective control of line personnel and much more. Now the company has the ability to monitor the implementation of standards in real time, both for individual employees and in general for departments. As for system support, for the customer every three weeks we, together with Softline, update the system and perform a number of improvements to expand the pool of indicators processed by the system, "said DBA Director General Vadim Gladyshev. |
The management of the electricity grid is very responsible, as it involves significant economic and social risks. With the help of Softline and CIAS, we were able to solve the issue of consolidating large flows of disparate data presented in various formats. The use of CIAS has already affected a significant increase in productivity: on average, the effective working time of employees increased by one hour per day, and the number of units that do not fulfill their indicators was halved. In addition, due to the integration of CIAS with the main accounting modules (commercial and balance accounting of electricity), several sections of the network with an increased level of losses were identified. With the help of Softline, we plan to expand the list of business processes that CIAS analyzes, as well as the introduction of the system in situation centers in other cities, "shared Maxim Pereverzev, Deputy General Director for Promising Development and Investment at SK Altaikrayenergo. |
