The ceremony of awarding the first National Prize Internet-content will be held in Moscow on June 02, 2022 at the Music Media Dome. The award was established by the Institute for Internet Development (IRI) with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, strategic the partner was VK Holding.

About 60 of the finalists became 383 projects that were nominated for the award. The total prize fund of the first National Internet Content Award is 18 million rub.

Winners will be named in 19 main categories, divided into two blocks ("Best projects social orientation "and" Thematic nominations "), as well as several "Specials." In the first two blocks, socially significant projects will be noted in Internet published between September 2020 and December 2021. In special numbers awards will be presented to projects focused on the current public agenda.

Award nominations are designed to highlight socially significant and positive content: projects about culture, history, volunteering, charity, educational and educational content, content about the achievements of Russian citizens, as well as patriotic projects directionality.

Expert groups already operating under the IRI are involved in the assessment of projects. So, Competitive The IRI committee acts as the Expert Council of the award, and the functions of the jury of the award performs the Production Council of IRI under the chairmanship of the General Director "STS Media "by Vyacheslav Murugov.

The selection of projects was carried out in three stages: at the first IRI sent requests to industry leaders, further, the received projects were considered by members of the Expert Council of ANO "IRI."
