2022: Digitization of valuable graphic documents on architectural heritage sites

For the Main Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, ELAR Corporation has digitized scientific and design and executive documentation for the preservation of cultural heritage objects (historical and cultural monuments) of the peoples of the Russian Federation. This was announced by ELAR on May 26, 2022.

Established in 1973 with the aim of automating the management process in the field of culture, the GIVC of the Ministry of Culture is the center of competencies in the field of digitalization, creates an interactive database and ensures the availability of digital solutions for industry institutions.

For Electronic archive of scientific and design and executive documentation on objects of cultural heritage the experts of ELAR digitized graphic documents of the middle of the 70th of the last century - bolsheformatny plans, architectural, architectural and archaeological measurement drawings, stereobmer, cards of production of restoration works, etc. The GIVC of the Ministry of Culture notes that such documents have not only practical, but also important historical and cultural significance.

Scanning of materials was carried out on professional domestic planetary scanners ELAR, which made it possible to obtain electronic copies of an increased level of detail, as well as due to the function of careful, contactless scanning, completely eliminated the risk of damage to documents.
