More than 250 schools in the Astrakhan region will switch to the Russian office software "MyOffice"

2022: Translation of schools of Astrakhan region to "MyOffice Education "

MyOffice, a Russian manufacturer of office software for working with documents and communications, and the Ministry of State Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Astrakhan Region have signed a cooperation agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, "MyOffice" will supply a set of office applications "MyOffice Education" to all 258 schools in the region for free, and other products - for example, "MyOffice Private Cloud 2," the mail system "MyOffice Mail 2" - educational institutions of the Astrakhan region will be able to purchase at special prices. This was announced on June 1, 2022 by the MyOffice company.

The MyOffice Education product includes desktop document editors, with which schoolchildren and teachers can create and edit texts and tables, as well as work with presentations. In addition, the package contains free XO Fonts - metric analogues of common foreign fonts. When using XO_Fonts in office software, the original formatting and layout of documents previously created using foreign fonts is preserved. The XO_Fonts set can be used in other programs, for example, in graphic editors.

In addition to the software, MyOffice will transfer to the schools of the Astrakhan region a textbook on digital literacy "ABC MyOffice," developed for primary school students. ABC MyOffice explains in detail how to work with document editors and allows you to teach children how to safely handle information in a playful way.

To make it easier for teachers to adapt to the products being implemented and include them in the curriculum, MyOffice specialists will hold a series of training webinars where they will tell in detail about the functions of applications, the use of the ABC MyOffice manual and answer all questions.
