RIVE GAUCHE protects business and increases reliability

The IBM corporation announced the beginning of implementation in commercial operation of multi-layer system of protection of servers and workstations for retail network of perfumery and cosmetics of RIVE GAUCHE.

The project is implemented with participation of the business partner of IBM, Asteros company.

The retail chain stores of RIVE GAUCHE contain more than one hundred shops across all Russia. Growth of retail network of the company revealed need to focus attention on aspects of information security.

As the single system of information protection in the company did not exist, the decision on its creation was made. Based on the tender the complex of solutions of IBM including the system of protection of servers, IBM Security Desktop Protection workstations and the central management console information security of IBM Security SiteProtector became a basis of a security system of RIVE GAUCHE.

In the first quarter this year test operation of a system is carried out. According to the results of testing the decision on implementation in commercial operation of an echelon security system in all branches of RIVE GAUCHE network in Russia was made. Now a system works in the mode of commercial operation at head office and a part of branches of RIVE GAUCHE network. Deployment in other branches of the company continues.
