Launch of NFC contactless service on validators

On September 26, 2022, the company CPPC announced the launch of a contactless service NFC on validators.

Now the activation function is available on all validators - there are more than 700 of them at the company's training ground for September 2022. The function can be used by owners of mobile devices on the Android system with NFC modules.

Thanks to the introduction of the ability to contactless activate tickets purchased in the CPPK mobile application on validators, the number of stations where you can go to electric trains using the NFC function has almost doubled. Now passengers can use the service at 271 stations, 120 of which are equipped with validators, - said Igor Evdokimov, head of the IT department of the CPPK.

Passengers appreciated the convenience of NFC - with its help you can go to the station easier and faster. It is enough to open the ticket purchased in the CPPK mobile application on the phone and attach it to the validator or turnstile only once - there is no need to activate it separately on a special screen. Activation takes place in seconds, for example, the flaps of the turnstile open almost instantly - you don't need to keep your phone at the mark for a long time. This saves up to 10 seconds in one pass - about 2.5 hours a year.

Contactless activation of tickets via NFC was launched in the Kazan direction in December 2021. Since the beginning of the function, CPPK passengers have used NFC more than 715 thousand times.

Completion of installation of 150 validators in Kazan direction

On August 4, 2022, CPPK announced that it was carrying out technical improvements in preparation for the launch of the MTsD-3. After installing 148 validators, the Kazan direction became the leader in their number: 252 devices.

148 devices were placed in the Kazan direction demanded by passengers in less than a month. They function at 31 stations of the Kazan direction: Kratovo, Eseninskaya, State Farm, Zagornovo, Bronnitsy, Raduga, 63 km, Beloozerskaya, Faustovo, Zolotovo, Vinogradovo, Konobeevo, Trofimovo, Lyubertsy-2, Korenevo, Ovrazhki, Rodniki, Vyalki, Khripan, 41 km, Donino, 49 km, 52 km, FerZhevo, Grigorovo, 55 km, Ignyazhino, Ignyaevo, ignyaevo, The installed model is shock-resistant, the screen diagonal is almost doubled compared to the previous one: from 5.9 to 10.1 inches. The image has become clearer, it is clearly distinguishable even in sunny weather. The built-in backlight helps passengers find the card in their pocket or purse faster in the dark. The availability of validators gives passengers, including federal beneficiaries, the opportunity to purchase tickets from/to stations with these devices in the official mobile application "Schedule and tickets of the CPPK," as well as issue subscriptions for the number of trips. In addition, beneficiaries of the Moscow region can use the Fast Track function.

Installation of 70 validators at another 19 stations of the Yaroslavl direction

On June 10, 2022, the CPPK company announced the installation of 70 validators at 19 more stations in the Yaroslavl direction.

Now passengers have the opportunity to purchase tickets from/to these stations in the official mobile application "Schedule and tickets of the CPPK" and subscriptions for the number of trips. Thanks to these devices, beneficiaries with social cards of the Moscow Region (SKMO) will be able to use the function of contactless registration of preferential tickets Fast Track.

The availability of validators allows passengers to save on trips by purchasing season tickets. With the installed devices, it becomes possible to mark the beginning of the journey at stations where there are no turnstiles, - said Ivan Konev, executive director of the Central Production Complex. - Buying one-time tickets at 19 more stations in the Yaroslavl direction will become faster and easier thanks to our mobile application. More recently, we added the function of issuing free tickets for federal beneficiaries to it - they can also activate digital travel documents on these validators.

Validators appeared at stations 43 km, Ashukinskaya, Bakhchivanzhi, Valentinovka, Gagarinskaya, Detsky, Zagoryanskaya, Zelenogradskaya, Zeleny Bor, Klyazma, Oseevskaya, Pravda, Sergiev Posad, Sokolovskaya, Sofrino, Fryazino-Tovarnaya, Khotkovo, Tsiolkovskaya, Chelyuskinskaya. Previously, validators have already been connected at Bolshevo and Fabrika stations on May 1.

In total, 714 validators were installed at the company's training ground as of June 2022. The largest number of such devices (146 each) is located in the Kursk and Savelovsky directions. In second place is Belorusskoye (122). The decision on their placement is made on the basis of studying passenger traffic.
