Career
2022: Appointment as Director of the Digital Transformation Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian federation
On June 9, 2022, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation announced the appointment of Anton Kolykhalov as director of the digital transformation department. Prior to that, he worked as Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of Cloud Services and Data Management of the Ministry of Digital Science of Russia.
In April 2022, as part of a change in the organizational structure of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Department of Project Activities and Digital Technologies was renamed the Department of Digital Transformation. This department has fully concentrated the functions of digital development of the department and the fuel and energy complex industries.
In May 2022, by decree of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, the Deputy Minister of power of the Russian Federation was appointed Eduard Sheremettsev, who at that time headed the Department of Project Activities and Digital Technologies.
By June 2022, Sheremettsev remained in charge of digitalization - digital transformation in the fuel and energy sector, and the development of information technologies.
By June 2022, the Ministry of Energy continues to implement the departmental project "Digital power." It is aimed at transforming the energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions to improve its efficiency and security.
As part of the project, it is planned to systematize the experience gained in the implementation of digital solutions, together with the fuel and energy complex companies and the expert community, to form a targeted vision of digitalization, as well as basic requirements and criteria for the solutions being implemented, which will allow them to be connected in a trusted digital environment.[1]
