The company Kazan Telematics"" together with SoftTelematics"" (included in the concern) "National Telematics Systems" was launched Indonesia project into automatic weight and dimension control () ASVGK of cargo. The transport NTS concern announced this on June 9, 2022. The system is already collecting statistics of violations, which will help the authorities countries to form the necessary regulatory framework and successfully fulfill the national program to combat overloaded vehicles.

The ASVGK post was installed on the 80th kilometer of the Jakarta-Merak toll road and became the first project in Indonesia for weight and size control in high-speed traffic. Before commissioning, the development of NTS passed the necessary metrological certification and primary verification procedure, during which it confirmed compliance with the requirements of international standards.

Indonesian authorities have set a goal of getting rid of the problem of congested and oversized transport completely by 2023. During operation, the complex recorded that up to 40% of trucks exceed the allowed weight, while the overload averages 57%, that is, the issue of the frequency of violations is really acute. Our development is one of the most accurate in the world: the error in determining the mass of vehicles does not exceed 2%, and the recognition of license plates in Indonesia is over 98%. The determination of the dimensions of the transport also meets the certification requirements, "said Marcel Nigmetzyanov, General Director of Kazan-Telematics (part of the NTS concern).

The automatic post of weight and dimension control has a modular system and includes equipment for determining the mass of vehicles, their dimensions, means for photographic recording and recognition of state registration marks, video surveillance, a board for informing drivers about the presence of a violation, etc. Taking into account the hot and humid climate, the problem of effective cooling of the complex systems was successfully solved. The solution is adapted to local features and is able to recognize the brands of machines characteristic only of the Asian region, their modifications, to determine both ordinary car numbers and those made artisanally.

Another distinctive feature of the complex is the monitoring and self-diagnostics system, which allows you to timely detect damage, breakdowns, monitor temperature and humidity in cabinets, measure asphalt heating, and also signal unauthorized access to equipment.

The concern's solution can fully solve the problem of controlling congested vehicles in the Republic of Indonesia, increase road safety and reduce the cost of repairing highways. It easily adapts to the regional characteristics and various climatic conditions of other countries. The project successfully demonstrates the capabilities of Russian technologies in the field of controlling weight and size violations on the roads for international markets. Such systems are especially relevant for Southeast Asia, whose roads are characterized by a high density of traffic flows and a significant number of violations, "said Alexander Bondarenko, General Director of NTS International.
